MY STORY & PHILOSOPHY
I imagine a piece in my head before I even lay my hand on the clay and begin the work in my studio. I like to embellish on the form and create designs of varying depth and size depending on the patterns that I envision in my head. Each piece is unique and thought out, sometimes painstakingly but with my upmost concentration to the process of the creation. Some people have said that the texture reminds them of the worm rock reefs that border the barrier island where I live and work. Others have remarked that the patterns remind them of some fractal design of nature. The need and will to create is beyond me, I have been creating art in whatever form is available to me since I was little. My hope is that whoever owns the work that I have made enjoy the positive energy and thought that have went into each piece.
